What the tests collect
Nothing. Every diagnostic on this site runs entirely inside your browser using standard input events. Click timings, scroll data, movement samples and key presses are processed locally and discarded when you leave the page. None of it is transmitted anywhere.
Camera and microphone
Some tests ask permission to use your camera or microphone. When you grant it, the stream is processed entirely inside your browser and shown or measured locally. Nothing is recorded, transmitted or stored on any server. If you use the record button on the microphone test, the clip is held in memory purely so it can be played back to you, and it is discarded when you stop the test or leave the page.
Permission is requested only at the moment you press start, never on page load, and your browser remembers your choice per site. You can revoke it at any time from the padlock icon in the address bar.
What is stored on your device
- Theme preference — whether you chose light or dark mode.
- CPS personal best — your highest score per duration.
Both use your browser local storage, never leave your device, and are removed when you clear your browser data.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which tests people use and where they have trouble. It records page views, approximate location at country level, device type and browser. It does not receive any of your test results.
Advertising
This site is funded by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
You can opt out of personalised advertising in your Google Ads settings , or opt out of third-party vendors entirely at aboutads.info.
